Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, "Sit here while I go over there and pray."... Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."... He went away a second time and prayed...So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing...and he said to them...Rise, let us go!

Today I'd like to point out a few things about prayer.
Matthew 26:36,39,42,44
Today I'd like to point out a few things about prayer.
- In extreme times of stress, Jesus didn't go to His friends for advice, He went to His Father.
- In His prayer, it was repetition, a pressing in and wrestling with God.
- Through His prayer His circumstances didn't change but He changed and was willing to accept and met them head on.
Will you take courage to pray and follow the role model that Jesus left for us?
