For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. John 3:34
A serious story:
About ten years ago, one morning I woke up and felt like there was a ball in my bed. At first I thought one of the kids had gotten into my bed that night and left it behind when they got up. But when I went to move it out of the way with my leg, it came right back with me. So I reached down and with my hand quickly discovered it wasn't a ball, it was something that was stuck right to me. It didn't hurt, it was about the size of my fist and it was on the front of my right thigh. I had no idea what it was but knew it couldn't be good. Still I took my time getting up to have a shower and going to the hospital. While I was in the shower the 'thing' on my leg started to move and it went almost to the side of my leg before it stopped again (later I found out how good it was that it did stop).
In the hospital it was quickly diagnosed as a venous thromboembolism, also known as thrombosis or homoeostasis.
A thrombosis is a blood clot formed when there is an imbalance in the blood coagulation system. A thrombosis can block the flow of blood through a vein or artery, and can detach from the vessel wall and become a life threatening embolus when it lodges in the lungs or other vital organs. In Europe, PE causes more than half a million deaths each year. This is more than twice the number of people who die from AIDS, breast cancer, prostate cancer, and road traffic accidents combined.
Do you think I would have accepted this kind of diagnosis
and the treatment of it from a nurse, orderly, or paramedic? No way!
I wanted the one who was qualified to do this and to care for my physical
need and the life threatening situation.
In the same way I looked for and received the physical care I needed, we should look for and get the care for our desperate spiritual need. In the verse above we are assured that Jesus is able to meet our dire and "life threatening" spiritual need just as my earthly medical doctor was able to meet my dire physical need.
Let me expand:
The one whom God sent was His one and only Son. His name is Jesus Christ. He came in full humanity without giving up His Godhead. He was sinless, very God yet very man. It is only through His sacrifice for sin that we have a remedy to restore our relationship with God which revives eternal life.
The one that God sent was the only one that could speak ALL that the Father wanted to speak to humanity. The prophets that came before Him could only speak of the One that was to come. Or they could only speak of the one specific thing the Father wanted them to speak about. Jesus was able to speak the words of God, on every topic, every doctrine, from grace, to faith, eternal life, salvation, heaven, hell, and healing to name only a few.

God gave Him the Spirit without limit, He has
all the giftings.
Romans 12:6-8 We have different gifts, according to
the grace given us....prophesying,...serving,...teaching,...encouraging,...contributing
to the needs of others,...leadership,...mercy....
